fields of gold

We lie in fields of gold 2

I have become a pandora radio junkie as of late.  I keep finding new-to-me music that just makes me happy.  One of the artists that keeps making me stop and sing along is Eva Cassidy.  While she did some original music, it is her covers of well-know songs that continue to blow me away.  This cover of Fields of Gold, tops that list...

I listened to it four times, just writing this post, and it takes my breath away every time.

For those of you interested, here is my station that is the current favorite...

Do you use pandora?  I would love to hear what you are listening to.

I love Pandora! I don't think I'd know about any of the bands I currently love without it. Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros' 2009 hit "Home" is my new favorite. I've listened to that song at least 6 times in the last 24 hours.

Thanks for sharing this station and the beautiful song; I've been looking for some new music! After being without for so long you forget the great pleasure that is found in finding some fabulous new tunes. :)

Olivia, "Home" is one of my MOST favorite songs!

Just love Eva Cassidy. Our wedding song was Eva Cassidy's cover of 'At Last'. Love listening to her.

ooh, love love. This version sounds so much more intentional and soulful than sting's, and I liked his!

Love that cover....love, love. I put on Pandora, type in Van Morrison and feel very poignant and old-school-cool about it all.....Mama P

Gorgeous photo...perfect for Eva Cassidy's Fields of Gold.
I love her music, listened to it a lot while painting in my studio.
Fields of Gold is amazing, but I also love her song Cheek to Cheek. :)

Wishing you all the best,
