As a new gardener, I am continually amazed that it actually seems to be working. I have real, live veggies popping up all over. Here are a few shots from my garden this week. Sorry for the quality of many of them. I didn't get into the garden until almost dark last night. J's grandparents brought some of their oldest friends (the ladies have been friends since 5th grade, so like 60 years!) over to visit and things got late.

I feel the same way - I go out and get FOOD from our garden...I didn't think I'd be able to grow anything and there's been more than enough to share! j :)

Wow- you have ripe stuff already! I am picking a few bell peppers and two tiny cucumbers but no go on anything else yet. Your chicks are very pretty! I can't wait until mine are big enough to let free range.

Oh, I am so happy for you! Your veggies are growing -- and so are your chicks. Our chicks are just about where yours are, but your lovely vegetables are WAY ahead.
